Walleye: These bad boys are the crown jewels of Lake Erie fishing. Known for their tasty white flesh and hard-fighting spirit, walleye can grow up to 20 pounds in these waters. They're most active during low-light conditions, which is why that early morning start time is crucial. Spring and fall are prime seasons, but summer can be dynamite too if you know where to look. Captain Bob's got the inside scoop on where these marble-eyed beauties are stacked up, so get ready to fill the cooler.
Yellow Perch: Don't let their size fool you—what these little guys lack in heft, they more than make up for in numbers and flavor. Lake Erie's yellow perch are some of the biggest you'll find anywhere, often tipping the scales at over a pound. They school up tight, so when you find 'em, it's game on. Late summer and fall are peak seasons, but you can catch 'em year-round if you know the spots. And let me tell you, there's nothing quite like a Lake Erie perch fry after a successful day on the water.
Look, whether you're a die-hard angler or just looking for a fun morning out with the family, this 4-hour charter with Myrmidon Fishin' Ful is the real deal. You're getting world-class fishing, expert guidance, and all the gear you need—all without eating up your entire day. At $590 for up to six people, it's a steal when you break it down.
So what are you waiting for? Those walleye and perch aren't going to catch themselves. Give Captain Bob and the crew a shout, and get ready to make some memories (and fill some coolers) on the big lake. Trust me, once you feel that first tug on the line, you'll be hooked for life. Book your spot now and get ready for some serious Erie action!

We had an amazing day on the water with Captain Carol. From start to finish, she was welcoming, patient, and always ready to help. Our 12-year-old son joined us, and she went out of her way to make sure he felt at ease and had a great time. Whether it was handling the net or unhooking the catch, she was right there every step of the way. Can’t recommend her enough—Captain Carol is the real deal!

Awesome trip from start to finish! The captain worked hard to keep us on the bite and made sure we hit our limit. Anytime the action slowed, they quickly had us back in the fish. Can’t wait to book another trip—highly recommend!

The fish were a bit quiet today, but that didn’t take away from the great time we had on the water. Still an enjoyable and memorable outing!

Yellow perch are scrappy little fighters that pack a tasty punch. These golden beauties typically run 7-10 inches long and love to school up near weed beds and drop-offs. Spring and fall are prime times to target them, when they move shallow to feed. You'll find 'em in 5-30 feet of water, often hanging around structure. Perch put up a fun fight on light tackle and make for excellent eating - their sweet, flaky white meat is hard to beat. Locals love 'em for fish fries. To catch your limit, try drifting with small minnows or worms on a light jig. Keep your bait near the bottom and watch for that telltale tap-tap-tap bite. Once you find a school, you can fill a bucket in no time.
Walleye are the crown jewel of Lake Erie fishing. These toothy predators average 2-5 pounds but can top 10. They hang out near rocky points and drop-offs, usually in 15-30 feet of water. Spring and fall are peak seasons when walleye move shallow to feed. They've got a reputation for being finicky, but man are they worth the effort. The fight is solid, and the meat is some of the best freshwater fish you'll ever taste - mild, flaky, and perfect for a fish fry. Trolling with crawler harnesses is deadly effective here. My local tip: troll S-curves instead of straight lines to trigger more bites. Hit it right, and you'll be hooked for life on walleye fishing.
